When students cannot be housed on post, off-post facilities are available. TRANSPORTATION: Information is as follows: (1) Anniston Calhoun County Airport is located approximately 10 miles south of Fort McClellan. Military bus service is available to and from Fort McClellan. (2) Commercial taxis are available on and off-post. (3) Government transportation is available only for official business. UNIFORMS: Information is as follows: (1) Officer Students: All Officer Basic and Officer Advanced students are required to have basic issue of uniforms except officers in an ADT status who are not required to purchase Army blues. Officer students should also bring PT clothing. (2) Enlisted Students: All BNCOC and ANCOC students will bring all initial issue, including PT clothing and a minimum of two pairs of boots and four sets of battle dress uniforms (BDU). Students will also bring one set of Class A uniforms with at least one long sleeve shirt, and one white dress shirt (long sleeve for men and short sleeve for women). Female soldiers should bring both slacks and skirts for the Class A uniform. Army blues are optional. (3) Civilian Students: Appropriate civilian attire is required for all civilians students. The dress code for those attending polygraph courses is coat and tie for men and slacks, dresses, and/or skirts for women. (4) Because of varied uniform policies for all other courses, students should call regarding uniforms prior to leaving home station. See paragraph a(1)-(4) above for AUTOVON numbers. (d) Government transportation is available only for official military business. (4) Uniforms. There is no seasonal uniform requirement at Lackland Air Force Base as San Antonio has been deemed a subtropical zone. (a) The BDU is the normal prescribed uniform for all dog-handling courses. Two pairs of boots are also required. Students attending the Military Working Dog Supervisors Course have an additional requirement to bring one Class B uniform. (b) For traffic management and accident investigation courses, students will bring Class B uniforms.
