Information Office (IO)

The AMRDEC Information Office provides support to all of AMRDEC for Mission Support networking, Information Assurance (IA) and Technical Publications. AMRDEC is a customer of the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN). DREN is operated by the Department of Defense (DOD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) under the direction of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Science and Technology) (DUSD[S&T]).

The Information Office provides Mission Support to all programs and projects operated under AMRDEC. IA support includes network monitoring and intrusion detection, Certification and Accreditation, policy and audit compliance, and overall access control. AMRDEC is compliant with the Army's Single DOIM initiative while striving to support non-Army programs and projects such as those operated under Missile Defense Agency, a major AMRDEC customer.
