Public Affairs Office
The AMRDEC Public Affairs Office is composed of the Public Affairs
Officer and Trade Show Director.
The Public Affairs Officer serves as the single point of contact for
Public Information by facilitating news media queries, coordinating and
disseminating news releases and media advisories, coordinating and
executing media events; supporting Command Information and Community
Relations, and Educational Outreach programs; managing the Public
Release Approval System; and processing Freedom of Information Act
requests.
The Trade Show Director is responsible for AMRDEC's participation in all
Trade Shows, Symposiums, and Expositions; coordinates activities,
schedules and events with AMC and RDECOM Corporate Communications
Office; ensures all displays and information materials are in compliance
with RDECOM Branding guidance; and proactively looks at upcoming events
across CONUS and OCONUS in support of and to facilitate Directors'
Program and Project Marketing and Information Strategies.
