Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED)
The Directorate of Aviation Engineering is the Airworthiness authority for Army-developed aircraft and provides matrix support to our customers. Our direct customers are the Program Executive Office for Aviation Programs Project/Product Managers (PMs) and the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Defense Systems Acquisition PMs. Our ultimate customers are the Army aircraft crew, passengers, and maintainers that operate the Army aviation systems.
