Fixed Wing Aircraft |
The Army had a mixture of aircraft that could no longer economically perform any of the Fixed-Wing missions as defined in the Department of the Army approved Army Fixed-Wing Investment Strategy. This study proposed and resulted in implementation of:
- Trading 7 C-12C and 3 C-23A aircraft for a DHC-7/102 aircraft,
- Trading 6 C-12C aircraft for a DHC-7/102 aircraft,
- Competing invitations for bids on 18 non-excess aircraft,
