Production Prioritization

The AMCOM Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) officer is located within the Industrial Base (IB) group. The DPAS officer's job is to provide assistance to AMCOM community on all DPAS issues. DPAS helps to keep priority defense programs on schedule by establishing and maintaining availability of materials and facilities. Also, DPAS supports the acceleration of production for appropriate defense programs in the event of a national emergency. The IB group coordinates various exercises that are conducted to determine the industrial base's ability to replenish or accelerate production.
