The AMRDEC Prototype Integration Facility
(PIF) is a Government Owned, Government Operated
(GOGO) facility/concept concentrated on meeting
the needs of AMCOM, the Department of Defense
(DoD) and ultimately, the warfighter. Customers
buy solutions, not technology; therefore,
the GOGO PIF concept focuses on assembling
& integrating the necessary Government
and Industry expertise to render a true rapid
response.
The
PIF offers single-source convenience, turn-key
solutions for prototype development, manufacturing,
systems integration, modification, experimentation
and subsystem/system testing. As a full-service
GOGO operation, we have the necessary expertise/facilities
for designing, fabricating, installing,
and testing complex airborne and ground-based
systems.
All
PIF proposals are developed via the Integrated
Product Team (IPT) approach with each project
being assigned a Government Team Leader,
segregated by four primary areas: Aviation
Systems, Missile Systems, Research &
Development and Special Projects.

Our
MISSION…
The primary goal of the PIF is to support
Army Aviation, Missile, DoD and technology
activities in the development, fabrication,
integration, test/qualification of prototype
tactical and ground support systems, subsystems
and components. Additionally, the PIF will
offer capabilities that allow for the manufacture
and integration of unique, difficult-to-procure,
and low-rate-production items.
