Spare
Part Fabrication - Support of Aviation
Programs for IMMC
Background:
In the past year, Prototype Engineering
Division has supported IMMC with the
fabrication of spare parts, new parts,
and tools for aviation programs. This
support is provided where procurement
sources no longer exist, low quantities
make procurement difficult and cost
prohibitive, or a quick response is
required.

PATRIOT
Battery Command Post
Background:
The PATRIOT Battery Command Post (BCP)
is a replacement for the M109 Van. The
design, fabrication, integration, and
testing of Phase 1 Prototype is complete.
A total of 24 Phase 1 BCPs will be integrated
with 14 already deployed.
Activities:
Phase
1+ Prototype development was initiated
in FY03 with requirement to integrate
41 Phase 1+ BCPs.

PATRIOT
Batallion Tactical Operations Center
Activities:
The PATRIOT Battalion Tactical Operations
Center (BTOC) was fabricated, integrated,
and tested through a cooperative effort
with the PATRIOT prime and support contractors.
Sixteen units were integrated and fielded
over a 2 year period in our facility.
The
BTOC was later upgraded to the Tactical
Command System (TCS). An additional
upgrade of the TCS is in process.
