Need Training on how to develop Contract Data Requirements?

Acquisition Initiatives and Data Management Training – The Data Management Office conducts classes on how to develop
data requirements for your contract. This instruction focuses on applying the principles of acquisition initiatives and
data management to develop Contract Requirements Packages (CRP)s. The course addresses current acquisition initiatives
policies, developing performance based statement of work language, Document Summary List (DSL), as well as the
completion of DD Form 1423s., for defining the minimum essential value added requirements. The course emphasizes the use
of Integrated Product / Process Teams (IPTs) to facilitate the acquisition initiatives process. The two-day class is
targeted for individuals directly involved in developing Contract Data Requirements for the acquisition of data.
This class is free of charge, does not have prerequisites, does not require the completion of a DD Form 1556 and can
be counted as Continuous Education Credit for the Acquisition Workforce.

Program Unique Performance Specifications Development Training - The Data Management Office conducts classes on how
to develop Program Unique Performance Specifications. The class begins with an overview of the types of performance
specifications, and the policies and regulations governing Program Unique Performance Specifications. This is followed
with information on how to gather information, how to prepare the information, how to write the document, and how to
review the document to ensure its adequacy. The class concludes with a module on lessons learned and procedures for
document certification by the Standards Executive.
This class is free of charge, does not have prerequisites, does not require the completion of a DD Form 1556 and can
be counted as Continuous Education Credit for the Acquisition Workforce.
