The Army Teen Panel is a group of eleven teens who are nominated by installation and Major Army Command Youth Services to represent teens Army-wide. Eight of us represent our Major Commands and three are At-Large members. As the Army Teen Panel, our goal is to increase and improve communication between Army Teens and Army leadership. As members, we take communications with teens to another level. We conduct briefings with the Army leadership on issues that are important to Army Teens and show the Army leadership teens really care. We are the vehicle for teens to express their feelings on how things really are at the installation level.

Our Objectives are:
  • To hear the opinions of Army teens on issues affecting youth.
  • To establish a method for Army teens to share their viewpoints and those of their peers on issues they are most concerned about.
  • To communicate Army teen opinions to Army leadership
Our Member Requirements are:
  • Members are selected for a maximum 2-year term.
  • Members must be in 9th, 10th or 11th grade for upcoming fall term.
  • Members must maintain a minimum grade point average of "C" or better.
  • Teens apply for representation through their installation and MACOM
  • Members attend two annual meetings in Washington, D.C.
  • Members participate in two annual telephone conference calls.
