In 1997 the Army Teen Panel developed surveys on the topic of youth sponsorship. The purpose of these surveys was to gain a general knowledge of how the program was working. The results of the survey indicated that the program was working - but only half way!
A few posts had wonderful Youth Sponsorship Programs and were very familiar with what Youth Sponsorship is. Too many had no idea what Youth Sponsorship is -- therefore they had no programs.
How much do you know about Youth Sponsorship? What about the program on your installation? Here's what we learned from the teen survey. Click on the question to see the responses.
