These are Cadets and Soldiers from 8th ROTC Brigade that participated in and completed the 2006 Bataan Death March. This 26 mile march is a reenactment of the notorious march during WWII. Members of the original march greeted the 2006 marchers and offered encouragement at the start and along the way. The winning team of the heavy march category, self named "Army Chicks," belongs to our own 8th BDE at Northwest State University in Natchitoches La. The heavy category is different from the light group because the heavy group carries a 40 pound pack for the entire march. This is living testimony that "Army Chicks rock!"
